What a difference a day makes! Own room, own bed, own key and no noise to speak of. They had us back in the classroom at 8:30am this morning to start induction. There were detailed explanations of all kinds of stuff, but can’t remember too much of it – still getting over the relief of getting transferred. The grounds are enormous and it seems everyone is able to move around freely during the day. That said they are very strict about where you should be at any given time, but it is up to you to be there. I need a watch.
The consequences of being late are serious, if you can’t handle it, they ship you straight over the road to high security again – no thanks.
The money on my canteen sheet will apparently arrive today, then I need to order stuff all over again. However there is no need to get the phone numbers approved, you just put the numbers on a new sheet and they work within 24 hours. I got another £2 phone credit on arrival and another bloody bag of biscuits, so that’s another £4 gone. I wish I had brought more money with me to court, I’m down to £8. The canteen form here goes in on Sunday, then the phone credit goes live on Tuesday, so the £2 will have to be it for a week. Managed to get another free letter, so at least I can write home and explain in more detail what’s happening. This place is so much better, the relief is unbelievable, that was the worst 5 days ever.
